Nathan & Sadie
We drove up Payson Canyon located in Payson, Utah for this particular shoot. There is still a lot of snow up there (mid March) and the road in the canyon has only been plowed up several miles.
The particular location we were shooting at, if you weren’t careful you’d end up in snow, up to your knees. Don’t worry, I only fell in a couple of times! I like to shoot with a 85 mm (Nikkor 1.8) and a 35 mm (Sigma Art 1.4.) I’m a COMPLETE sucker for Bokeh (the blur) in the background and just eat it up.
Nathan and Sadie have been dating for over a year while both attending the University of Utah up in Salt Lake City. They conveniently became apartment neighbors while both attending their first year of College and hit it off!
They both love their Doc Martens so here’s a little shout out to this awesome shoe brand! (I also own some Doc Martens and LOVE them + they are super durable!) My sister mentioned how these two getting married in their Doc Martens reminds her of the 2000’s trend of both wearing Converse for your wedding day. Are you guilty?! Doc Martens are the new Converse.
I love to get a variety of shots. I think close-ups ranging to far outs are all important in order to give my couples ample options based on their specific needs.
I travel down into the Utah Valley area multiple times a year to visit family and love to shoot images of YOU while I’m down there. Reach out, and I can give you specific dates I will be visiting.
