Nampa Idaho Indoor Family Photo Session
Saturday, I got all packed up from my house in Emmett Idaho and headed out to Nampa Idaho for an Indoor home family photo session. I love to shoot locally in Emmett, but I also frequent the Treasure Valley to shoot in Boise and surrounding areas. Located in the Treasure Valley, Nampa is exploding with new beautiful houses and people.
February is not ideal for an outdoor family photo session, unless you’re willing to endure the cold and wind. This is especially true with little ones who are a lot less likely to pretend they are happy when they’re freezing! That is why I love to offer sessions at your home during the winter months. I come with an off camera flash (light box) and utilize the natural light from the windows to create some magic!
The house was painted all white on the interior. This tends to be an easier indoor scene to shoot because the light will bounce all over the place, lighting up the whole area and people. This mom knows how to create interior design MAGIC! Check out her house! Everything is beautifully composed and put together.
I love this image of the baby running towards the parents. That’s the magic of a photo session in your own house. The children are at ease in their own element. They are free to come and go as they want to and moments of serendipity can abound like these: The little girl ran up to her Dad while I was shooting the parents, so I quickly transitioned into getting these shots before the toddler decided on other interests. (As seen below)
I hope you’ve enjoyed this fun little journey with me to Nampa Idaho for a Home Family Photo Session.
